Rooted in the values of justice, integrity, and respect by using journalism as a tool to fulfill the inherent right of the people to know the truth, the Public Herald serves as the official student publication of UP College of Public Health.

MISSION
The publication is steadfast in providing the college with true and accurate information using various media, bridging the gap and paving the way for a smoother communication between the scholars and the administration, keeping the public well-versed with current matters of concern, and promoting the good of the college and preserving its integrity.
VISION
The publication envisions a community of scholars, faculty and staff with heightened awareness for academic, social and health-related issues, with a raised consciousness within the college, and well-informed individuals that actively participates in all of the college’s events. It pictures a college not bound by inhibited opinions but on the contrary, free to relay right and just information.

1. To uphold freedom of thought and unity of action among its members;2. To promote social consciousness among the students especially endeavors undertaken by the College and development of the Philippine health care system;3.
